Moving to Japan #3: Preparing To Travel

Hey, everyone! Bhaiya here.

I finally made it to Japan yesterday, and I wanted to start off by sharing how I spent my time and packed my things before departing from America.

What did I buy?

Since I’m traveling to Japan, I didn’t want to bring too many things, or else it would be very difficult to move my bags around from place to place. I wasn’t sure if the convenience store in my hotel would be open by the time I reached, so I went out to do some grocery shopping, and bought the following items:

  • Tooth-brush
  • Tooth-paste
  • Mouth wash
  • Lotion
  • Gum
  • Cardboard-box (I had to send a PC to my company)

What did I pack?

I’m a video-game programmer so I brought a lot of games, devices, and text-books with me to Japan! 🙂

  • Visa documents
  • Passport
  • Masks
  • Protein-bars
  • Shirts
  • Jeans
  • Sweat-pants
  • Jackets
  • Underwear
  • Socks
  • Hoodies
  • Video games (consoles, game boxes, controllers, etc.)
  • Three laptops
  • iPad
  • Text-books
  • Hairspray
  • Medicine
  • Glasses
  • Souvenirs
  • Plus the other things I bought

Before leaving to Japan…

On the day before I had to go to Japan, I spent a lot of time with my family. I played with my dog and went for a walk with him, played games and watched anime with my siblings, and talked with my parents. Later on we all went together to a nearby park to spend time together and take pictures. It was a little cold, but the weather was good all-together. Finally, I went with my family to PF Changs to eat dinner, and I even drank alcohol for the first time! It was a good experience to spend time with everytime, since I won’t be able to see them for a long while.

I hope this article was helpful! Thank you for reading it.
